Focusing on the memoir and reminiscent feelings of skate culture, cab magazine conveys these stories in a dynamic contemporary manner. It is an experimentative visual exploration of familiar skateboard visual culture and themes.

A recounting of my thesis research on Asian representation in Western cinema and its effects on identity formation in Asian diaspora, exemplifying my observations from my critical film viewing methodology. Personable and tactile, freshoffthescreen is a zine created to reveal the explicit and implicit issues in current representations of Asians in film in relation to identity in Asian diaspora in North America.

nautical is a seaside poetry book featuring poems by Japanese American poet Sadakichi Hartmann (public domain). Inspired by sea-like feelings, motions, and visuals - the design pays homage to these aspects through graphical and typographic means.
